A by-chance meeting in a Cologne recording studio in the late-nineties set Nic Chagall and Bossi on the course to becoming Germany’s most successful and enduring electronic music duo. Their original productions have thrust them to the highest reaches of download charts & streaming lists, whilst their remixography has included everyone from scene legends like Armin van Buuren to revered Hollywood composers like James ‘Avatar’ Horner.
Dancefoundation created the new website of this German superstar duo. Besides a biography and the latest news, it also features a comprehensive and growing catalog of their music. Not only their discography, but also of their label Wake Your Mind Records. Photo galleries give you an insight in their busy touring life, while you can also sit back to watch their countless music videos. Last but not least, you can listen to all episodes of the Wake Your Mind weekly radio show.
For the release of their 6th studio album ‘Start to Feel’, Dancefoundation provided the accompanying social wall website.
The social wall encourages fans to share their feedback using the #starttofeel hashtag. Selected posts will be displayed on the wall, blended with photos, videos and other Cosmic Gate related news.
“What we would like to get across through ‘Start To Feel”, says Nic Chagall “is that electronic music doesn’t need to always start and stop at the drop. It doesn’t have to be all about that 60 seconds. We love that type of music. If we didn’t we wouldn’t have made tracks like ‘So Get Up’ and a dozen others. But those are start points to Cosmic Gate’s music. Not end ones.
“Our overall aim is the long game”, expands Bossi. “In the studio we want to create tracks with real life expectancy. We want to make ‘years-from-now’ music, where every time you come back to a track, you hear something new, something different, something more than you caught the last time. There are so many more moments and elements with which you can start to feel a track. We want to encourage people to experience electronic music in a deeper, wider, more complete way”.
